ACellAcell/MatriStem is a multi-layer wound matrix device that contains ECM (Extra Cellular Matrix). ECM is a collection of molecules secreted by the body that provide structural and biochemical support to the surrounding cells, such as cell adhesion, and cell to cell communication. Acell acts as a scaffold for human tissue regeneration which focuses on constructive remodeling and tissue repair. ACell is an FDA approved product used in everything from plastic surgery to deep, hard-to-heal, full-thickness wounds. When combined with PRP it has shown to enhance the stimulation of hair growth and scalp repair.
