"MICRO NEEDLING" with PLATELET RICH PLASMA
Dr. Dhai has been utilizing platelet rich plasma (PRP) to perform nonsurgical face lifts, a.k.a. “Dracula Facelift”, for over 15 years. Recently she has been utilizing CIT or collagen induction therapy. This procedure using micro needling creates small microscopic channels in the epidermal skin layer. "Micro needling" itself starts the process in your skin to produce more collagen and elastin resulting in tightened and firmer skin. By adding the PRP to this procedure the results are enhanced by concentrating the growth factors made available to the skin in its healing response. Fine line and wrinkle are reduced, acne scars are improved, the skin is tighter, and stretch marks disappear.
She uses a device called a Dermapen that stamps small 0.5-2.5mm channels into the epidermal skin layer. She then uses a variety of serums or PRP that are tailored to your particular concern and drives them into the skin. There is no damage done to the dermis so there is no downtime, but with all the results of a laser or fraxel treatment at a fraction of the cost!
